so i came home on thrusday nite and looked at my front tires and realized they were REALLY low. they were basically flat. i got to the gas station and put in 75 cents and i guess i dont know how to put air in tires cuz my tire was still low...at a 15 according to my measurin thing to measure air. so i called my father and he met me at shell to get free air.
he met me up there and my dad and i were fillin up our tires. we were only there a few minutes but i guess some guy was really in a hurry cuz he parked his car right behind both of our cars to make SURE he could be the next one (even though no one else was in line to get gas.) we hurried and filled up my tires and then i went to start my car and what do you know. walmart for the past 3 years has been right....i need a new battery. my car is completely dead.
I get out to tell tha guy thats waitin and he lifts up his hands and has this look on his face like hurry up. i tell the guy i need a new battery. my car wont start. and of course he doesnt say "can i help you" or "im sorry" but "oh great!" with an attitude!
my dad hurries and fills his tires up with gas and then moves his car. we get my car into neutral and my dad is pushin my car and once again that guy doesnt say, "do you guys need help?" my dad pushes my car into a parkin spot and then he gets on the jumper cables and of course my car....STILL doesnt start!
so we hurry and go buy a battery and go home and get some tools and then i stand and hold the flashlight and act like i know what my dad is doin while he changes the battery.
can i just say that was the longest nite of my life? but i am glad that my dad was there to do everything. i mean i could do it, but i know my dad likes fixing things so its his turn. :)
but i do have some good news! trey songz is comin to tha base for a lil mini concert and pictures with him and i leave for KENYA in a month on monday! oh and im FINALLY goin paintballin tomorrow!!!!

Wait- you're going to Kenya? As in Africa?
ReplyDeleteMy battery died this week, too. I needed to get to work, too.
People suck. That's all I've got.
Well now that I am back in the blogging world why are you going to Kenya? How cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure you left out the part about how Katie & Rachel help make your night a little better with leftover soup and warm pumpkin pie :-)
