so when i got off work and then went to my apt i flipped on tha light, but it wasnt workin. so i tried another one it didnt work. then i opened up my fridge and thought oh crap. i have no power. haha

i went outside and asked my neighbor if they had power and they said no. so i went back inside and called my power company and they told me how 1500 people in the area didnt have power. wow. thats a lot. then i opened up the fridge again to check to see if stuff was still cold (it was- so we didnt lose power too long before i had gotten home.

-now i dont know why sometimes i have so much common sense cuz i say a lot of stupid things sometimes haha (but to call the power company and check the food- gotta say im amazing) haha

but off of the subject can i just say my boyfriend at work is three and he is so smart. he asked me where i lived and i told him. then i asked where he lived and he told me the COMPLETE address along with the city, state, and zip code!!! then he told me his phone number with his area code. i wish i was that smart. he said his mom taught him that for emergencies

ok now back to my story- haha i realized i take too much for granite. i couldnt even eat dinner without the power. everything i was gonna have needed the oven, microwave, or stove. so i went out to eat. (it was delicious. i got curry at this really good thai place)

then i came back home and we still didnt have power. i started reading. and then a light came on. i have most of my power now, except for the outlets in my living room. im gonna get it fixed tomorrow.

well thats all for me- except this all made me feel like i was back in kenya cuz we lost power in the middle of the day and theres nothing to do. haha

moral of the story- dont rely on power and learn your address and phone number when you're three for emergencies
